Description
In this course students will render pre-existing characters from literature in an illustrative format. How to apply form and function to character design and gain an understanding of how their character would realistically fit into its environment.
Expectations: A better understanding of how posture, costume, color, and accessories can tell the viewer everything about a character at a glance. Students will produce an original illustrative piece to add to their artist portfolio.
Appropriate for Teens to Young Adults 13 - 30
