BIO
Heidi Jost (von Bergen) graduated from Bennington College, majoring in Painting and Sculpture. She studied under color field painter Jules Olitski, who greatly influenced her painting style. She experiments with movement of paint on raw cotton canvas, staining, and large abstract, gestural shapes. Her paintings have been shown throughout New York, including Le Moyne College, Kirkland Art Center and Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute.
