Bilateral Drawing & Movement (Adults)
Inspired by visual artists Heather Hansen and Tony Orrico, this workshop will introduce and explore forms of bilateral drawing and movement to release stress and tension from the body and mind. These creative practices involve slowing down and connecting with inner emotions and sensations to increase presence and resilience in daily life. No previous experience is needed, just a willingness to draw freely and with a sense of curiosity.
Comfortable clothes that allow for movement and can get dirty are highly recommended.
All levels of mover’s welcome. Accommodations can be made.
All materials provided. Adaptive tools can be provided upon request.
Ages 16 and up. Limit 4 participants per class. Couples are welcome upon request.
