Statement:
Petrichor Cave Kiss, an exhibition by Jeff Gibbons, explores the deep continuity of human experience—spanning from our ancient ancestors huddled in caves to our technology-driven present and the unfathomable future ahead. Through a fusion of art, philosophy, and speculative thought, Gibbons examines our longing for connection, the role of technology in shaping our reality, and the essence of what it means to be human. At its core, the exhibition invites viewers to consider a present and future where love, creativity, and shared experience prevail over control and consumption—a future that has always been within reach, waiting to be embraced.
